FPE Tuition & Cost

The Fire Protection Engineering Program at Cal Poly is a self-sustaining program; no state resources are used to support the program.

Beginning in the fall of 2024, the fee for the FPE certificate and master's programs has been established at $731 per unit. This fee may change without prior notice. In addition to the program fee, students who are matriculated in an on-campus self-support degree program offered through Cal Poly Extended, Professional and Continuing Education will be required to pay additional university fees:
